Product recall: food supplements containing banned and carcinogenic substances

Seven food supplement products from the Superdiet and Herbesan brands have been recalled. These products contain non-compliant aloe emodin and emodin content. For your health, it is therefore recommended not to consume them.

These food supplements were recalled because a check revealed non-compliant aloe emodin and emodin content. These are prohibited substances because they can cause harmful effects on the health of the consumer. Indeed, these genotoxic substances could have carcinogenic properties.

Thus, brands invite their consumers to no longer consume this product and to return it to the point of sale, by contacting the 03 27 44 08 98.

People who purchased these products will be able to be reimbursed, until the end date of the recall procedure, Monday March 6, 2023.
