The reason for this measure: There could be foreign bodies in individual packaging of the sausage sold by EDEKA, among others. Consumption of the goods is not recommended.
According to a letter that the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) published on its portal “lebensmittelnning.de”, the company The Family Butchers Central Europe GmbH calls out the product “GUT&GÜNSTIG Hauchfeine Delikatess smoked salami” in the 200 gram pack reasons of preventive consumer protection.
Consumption is discouraged
Affected by the goods recall is the article “GUT&GÜNSTIG Hauchfeine Delikatess salami smoked” in the 200 gram pack, batch identification: EAN (piece) 4311501496046, with the best before dates (MHD) September 10th, 2023, September 11th, 2023 and September 12th, 2023.
According to the information, it cannot be ruled out that there may be blue plastic foreign bodies in individual packaging with the relevant best-before dates. For reasons of preventive consumer protection, consumption of the product is therefore not recommended.
The article in question was offered nationwide primarily at EDEKA and Marktkauf. It is said that The Family Butchers and the affected trading companies reacted immediately and immediately removed the goods in question from sale.
Consumers who have bought the relevant product with the specified best-before dates can return it to their shops for a refund of the purchase price without presenting the receipt.
