How to combine shoes and skirts in spring? Here are some style tips
Spring is here, time to get your legs out girls! Skirts are a comfortable and beautiful garment this season: there are many different models and there is really one for each of us. You just need to understand what our strengths are and choose the right one! The biggest dilemma this season is the shoes, exactly as Giulia writes to us: with which shoes can we match the skirt in mid-season? Here are some tips for you.
Skirt and flat shoes in spring: lace-ups, derbies or sneakers
Lace-ups are the first to take out of the shoe cabinet, because they cover the foot which is still often whitish and “dress” it to perfection. You can wear them with skirts above or below the knee, even with midi skirts, if you have thin calves and ankles. The other option, for casual or sporting contexts, is the sneaker: my advice is to choose it basic and white, so that you can wear it with everything without feeling bound by details or color combinations.
Skirt and flat shoes in spring: the Mary Jane
Personally I love Mary Janes, they are my second choice after lace-ups or sneakers. They too dress the foot, unlike the dancers who leave the instep completely bare. You don't necessarily have to put them in elegant contexts. Look at the photo below: a casual t-shirt is enough to make the look easier.
Skirt and flat shoes in spring: moccasins
For those who love the preppy look or have a vintage soul, moccasins are an excellent solution. My suggestion is to wear them barefoot and leg, unless the legs (especially the part from the knee down) are your strong point. In this case, the ankle sock is perfect!
Skirt and flat shoes in spring: sandals
If you balance the amount of bare skin (and have a flawless pedicure), sandals can also be worn in spring! You just need to cover everything else a little more: in simple terms, a long-sleeved shirt or a long or midi skirt, even pleated, with a denim jacket on top will be enough to be spring and not summer.
