Strawberry legs is a term for a popular cosmetic defect. Small red dots appear on the skin, which do not disappear, and what's worse, they can even cover the entire legs. The reason is improper care and the often associated haste. That's why we have some tips that will help you get rid of this unwanted effect once and for all.

The best recipe for strawberry legs. One product is enough

Sensitive skin is troublesome, and it's not just about the face. Strawberry legs largely affect people with fair skin, but the truth is that this cosmetic defect can happen to any of us.

The main reason for the appearance of small, red and unsightly dots on the skin is the lack of proper hydration and improper depilation. There are many shaving creams and foams on the market, but in fact, thick hair conditioner is often enough.

Just spread some conditioner on wet legs and wait two minutes. This way, the hair on your legs will soften and be easier to remove. In addition, the razor gains additional slip and a moisturizing film remains on the skin, which protects against irritation.

Simple and effective, I must admit that I have tried this method many times and was satisfied. Of course, after depilation, you should rinse your legs thoroughly and apply a moisturizing lotion after getting out of the shower.

Strawberry legs. Where do they come from and how to deal with it?

When your legs start to look like ripening strawberries, it's a sign that we haven't taken proper care of our skin. The reason is largely shaving your legs quickly, somewhere at the sink or bidet, without appropriate cosmetics and with a badly used razor. This does not mean, however, that the traditional form of hair removal has to end with disastrous results.

You just need to follow a few simple rules. First of all, when choosing a razor, it is worth getting one that has at least one gel strip and its head is not fixed. This not only makes it easier to shave, even around the knees. Additionally, we minimize the risk of irritation. And this is a key issue.

Secondly, remember that the razor accumulates bacteria, which inflame the inflammation that sometimes appears on the skin as a result of improper depilation. Therefore, before each shaving, it must be rinsed and disinfected with salicylic spirit.

To avoid the strawberry legs effect, remember three important things:

  • Before shaving, soak your skin thoroughly, preferably with warm water,
  • apply appropriate foam, cream or conditioner to your legs,
  • don't forget about the balm, be sure to moisturize your skin after shaving.

It would seem that these three rules are quite obvious, but in a hurry it sometimes happens that we not only reach for a blunt razor, but also decide to shave our calves dry or only after lightly sprinkling them with water. Ultimately, when we rush to a meeting, we also give up moisturizing our legs, which makes the skin look less aesthetic after a while.
