Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, William and Harry exchanged Christmas presents, compromising and putting old grudges aside
Kate Middleton, Sofia of Sweden and the others: the royals 2020 Christmas cards
Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, William and Harry compromise and exchange Christmas presents as a sign of peace, at least apparent.
So, Kate, Meghan and their husbands have laid down the hatchet and signed a truce with this reconciling gesture in full Christmas spirit. Perhaps the distance and the different media and economic interests, Harry and Meghan have just signed another millionaire agreement with Spotify, have mitigated the tensions between the two families.
So, according to People reports, the Sussexes and the Cambridge brothers exchanged gifts before the holidays, in time to put them under the tree and unpack them for Christmas. Even though, the magazine specifies, the whole Royal Family sent their gifts this year, instead of delivering them personally on December 25 in Sandringham where for decades the Queen has hosted her closest relatives for lunch.
The pandemic has in fact prevented the family reunion and everyone will spend the Christmas holidays in their own home. The Queen and Prince Philip are at Windsor Castle, Kate, William and their three children probably at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, near the mansion of Carole and Michael Middleton, parents of the Duchess of Cambridge, although they are still not sure. Instead Harry, Meghan and Archie are preparing to celebrate their first Christmas in their splendid villa in Montecito where they seem to have had a lot of fun making the decorations.
Charles and Camilla will probably visit the Sovereign in Windsor, who, for the first time since 1987, will have to give up Christmas in Sandringham with the whole family, even though Harry and Meghan had already rejected the invitation last year. Meanwhile, a source close to Her Majesty revealed to People that Elisabetta and Filippo are aware of the need to maintain isolation and are still happy to spend this period in peace.
While Kate and William are still unsure of their Christmas destination, they have shown that they have gotten into the festive spirit by sharing the Christmas card featuring them in the beautiful garden of their country house. While George, Charlotte and Louis enjoyed their first red carpet by attending the Christmas show held at the London Palladium. And grandmother Carole revealed that her grandchildren helped her decorate the tree in a video call.
