Kate Middleton chooses a casual look for her first public engagement after isolation, but the vest with the pockets is a nonsense
Kate Middleton is back to work. She left home and isolation to carry out her first public commitment. But she disappointed all expectations, wearing a meaningless vest.
For her return to court duties, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the Fakenham Garden Center, a garden near her home in Norfolk. She presented herself at the appointment with a casual look: a blue shirt, Massimo Dutti's jeans without a belt, sneakers, signed Superga, and a waistcoat with a £ 175 pocket by the Swedish brand Fjallraven.
A leader who left everyone stunned. Definitely practical to protect yourself from plant moisture, but far too retro and broad for Kate's minute physique. The outfit as a whole appears uncared for, even the absence of the belt shows the neglect in the details.
We would have expected better as the first outfit after isolation, also because Lady Middleton had accustomed us to carefully chosen choices during the video connections in these three months.
In any case, the Duchess appeared in a good mood, gardens and plants are her natural environment. In fact, she revealed how much she likes to bring her three children to the Garden Center. She also said that during the past three months she went out with her family just to buy food, but it was a time when she was able to teach George, Charlotte and Louis about the importance of outdoor life.
Among other things, Sunday 21 June Kate will celebrate the birthday of her husband William, but for the Duke it will be a sad day, since her father Carlo cannot be with her.
