Melania Trump in London, disappoints with the trench coat
Melania Trump accompanies her husband Donald at 10 Downing Street to meet the outgoing Premier, Theresa May.
For the formal visit, the First Lady chooses a trench coat by Celine, one of her favorite garments, which translates into a flop. The look of the second day in London disappoints. Melania perhaps wanted to immerse herself in the British style but the result is plastered.
Mrs. Trump in less than 48 hours showed off fantastic clothes, like the white one by Dolce & Gabbana at the Buckingham Palace lunch. The outfit at the gala dinner, signed by Dior, was impeccable, although Kate Middleton was able to overshadow it. But the stiff coat, buttoned up to the neck, with a waist-squeezing belt is a false step. Of course, Melania wears it with style, combining it with high-heeled shoes and a Hermes bag that is a must. And underneath you can see a leather skirt.
The First Lady, accompanied by Philip May, husband of the Prime Minister, meets a group of children who offer her bouquets of flowers and for the first time she smiles and shows herself at ease. Trump's wife redeems herself and even supports the Tycoon by giving him her hand.
But the real "victim", so to speak, of Trump's presence and wife in London is Harry. The Prince attended only the lunch at the Palace, completely deserting the State banquet. An absence that weighed, comments the Daily Mail. During the few hours at Buckingham Palace, Harry appeared tired and distracted. He barely managed to entertain guests, including Ivanka Trump. Looking off, looking bored, he seemed to be looking forward to escaping.
Undoubtedly his son Archie, born last May 6th, will make him sleepless. But the suspicion is that Meghan Markle does not forgive him for interacting with President Trump. Perhaps Frogmore Cottage must have suffered the reproaches of his wife.
