What is PRX-T33 complex and how does it help rejuvenate skin

The Italian company WiQo med has been conducting research for several decades and in 2011 patented a technology that made trichloroacetic acid safe in a sufficiently high concentration while maintaining its effectiveness. The difficulty here was that the use of this substance requires a lot of experience and special skills of a cosmetologist in order to avoid possible complications.

The complex obtained as a result of research was called PRX-T33. It includes several components:

  • trichloroacetic acid, which stimulates skin renewal and supports the formation of new collagen;
  • hydrogen peroxide, which accelerates and enhances the effect of trichloroacetic acid;
  • Kojic acid, which normalizes the production of melanin, which helps eliminate and avoid the appearance of unwanted spots on the skin in the future.

The main feature of the PRX-T33 complex is that it does not damage the top layer (epidermis), but penetrates deep into the dermis and has an intensive effect, triggering the production of its own hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin. As a result, the texture and color of the skin improve, it is filled with moisture. This approach allows you to avoid common problems associated with damage to the epidermis and start rejuvenation processes without injections.

Cosmetologists use PRX-T33 not only as an independent rejuvenation procedure, but also in combination with other techniques to prepare the skin for hardware treatments, increase their effectiveness and speed up the recovery process. Unlike beauty shots that take time to show their effects, PRX-T33 shows its potential right away. For example, botulinum toxin takes up to two weeks to relax muscles, or hyaluronic acid to trigger the reaction of cell receptors.

Preparation for hardware techniques with the PRX-T33 plays an important role in achieving the desired results. For example, many hardware procedures, such as RF and HIFU, show noticeable results and accelerated recovery if the procedure was performed on prepared, sufficiently moisturized skin. High-intensity focused ultrasound propagates better in an elastic medium. The effects of HIFU are accompanied by controlled thermal trauma to the skin, which in patients prone to hyperpigmentation can provoke increased melanocyte activity and excessive pigment release. The presence of kojic acid in PRX-T33 provides melanin blocking, reducing the risk of side effects.
