An ode to Italian style: choose Doucal's loafers

The Italian brand has been making shoes for half a century. Growing from a small workshop in the ancient town of Montegranaro in the Marche region, the brand continues to rely on handcraft. Both men’s and women’s Doucal’s models are made of soft leather.

The brand’s designers love to fantasize about loafers: they never go out of style and go with almost any look.

To sew men’s loafers with fringes, Doucal’s craftsmen used soft suede, which, despite its flexibility, holds its shape well. This season, the brand showcased a new interpretation of the iconic Sailor model with a double fringe and buckle design, complete with a non-slip rubber sole. Granada loafers are distinguished by a characteristic raised seam that emphasizes the shape of the shoe’s toe. A kilt with a jumper and tassels was added as accents. The signature golden yellow leather sole features a rubber overlay.

The women’s collection also features several interesting unlined models. For example, nautical-themed loafers with a jumper at the vamp and metal charms tied in a nautical knot style. There are several sole options – with rubber or grooved tread. The special Ago design is responsible for softness and flexibility when walking, and also provides proper support for the foot.
